Overall, it will be a buoyant year, the year ruled by a very self-sufficient bird that will never goes hungry. The colorful Rooster is a harbinger of bright and cheerful times, he is energetic, but somewhat impractical. The optimism generated during the previous Year of the Monkey spills over to this current Year of the Rooster – but unlike the Monkey, the Rooster tends to be overconfident and more often than not comes up with meaningless and unattainable ideas. So it’s advisable for all of us to stick to a pragmatic course of action. Any controversial plans initiated during this year will most certainly meet with failure. In order not to get trapped into any questionable get rich quick schemes, all sorts of speculation & gambling should be avoided. The Rooster likes to stand on its legs, spread its wings and flaunt its authority – likewise there will be a general tendency among men to be aggressive. A rooster is considered to be a good administrator and a principled supervisor in the barn – during this year a lot of our latent leadership & peacemaking abilities will come to the forefront. Just as a rooster shouts at the top of its voice to make its presence felt in the vicinity, we will have to spend a lot of money on advertising and promoting our business to get maximum gains out of it.
