Overall a peaceful year, very much needed after that hectic, if not sometimes brutal, year of the Tiger. A tiger after a fierce fight goes off to some quiet shady spot to lick its wounds and get some much needed rest , likewise we too would be inclined to chill out during this year. People will be attracted to anything sophisticated & refined, we will realize persuasion is better than force, negotiations are better than war. Very much unlike the year of the Ox, diplomacy, international relations and politics will come back to the front-burner. A word of caution for the excessively permissive: the Rabbit’s influence hurts those who are indulgent by impairing their productivity and wiping away all sense of duty. Generally during this relaxed year law and order will be lackadaisical, rules and regulations will not be strictly enforced as nobody, even the cops, seems to be bothered with these so called “laws and by-laws”. Everybody is out at the beach enjoying themselves with friends and family. At last, we all seem to be enjoying that leisurely lifestyle we all had been dreaming of for the past 12 years.
