The buzzword for this year is "No pain no gain." Since the Ox favors discipline this year will be particularly harsh on the lazy and the inefficient. Whether we like it or not, this year we will all feel the burden of responsibility descending upon us. No success can be achieved without whole-hearted dedication to our duty. The winds of uncertainty will mainly blow in the direction of the home front, so it is a good time to settle all pending domestic affairs, put our house in order, and start afresh with a clean slate. As people will be caught up with the domestic front, public affairs like politics and diplomacy will be treated with indifference, so this is not a good year for politicians and diplomats. Neither are these times suited for capriciousness & controversy. So it’s better if we stick to time-tested conservative principles without acting too smart and coming up with a whole bunch of deceptive shortcuts to success.
