Year of the Dragon

The previous Year of the Rabbit was the Year of Healing, so this year will see us all making some sort of a comeback – be it in the form of improvement, total recovery or outright triumph. We will start working on a very ambitious and challenging project because the invincible spirit of the Dragon will amplify everything to a larger than life size. So things might appear better than they actually are, and though we will be bubbling with super abundant energy we should not get carried away and overrate ourselves beyond our potential. On the positive side, business conditions will be exemplary and wealth will be generated easily. Bank loans can be easily obtained. Big spending and lavish parties are the order of the day as the robust Dragon scoffs at the stingy. The Dragon is a gambler and will incite us to think and act big, even surpassing the limits of caution. The Chinese consider this to be a very lucky year to get married, have children or start a new business, as the generous Dragon brings in luck & good fortunes. On the other hand, this is also a time to tone down our excitement and think twice before taking the plunge. The Chinese believe the lucky Dragon showers his good fortunes indiscriminately on all but he disappears when the time comes for us to make retributions for our transgressions. Finally, during this year, both fortunes and adversities will come in massive waves, so we should be prepared for a lot of surprises.
