A child born in the Year of the Tiger

(Also: Read about the grown-up Tiger )

Chinese symbol for the Tiger

Tiger

Hyperactive and high strung, romping and screaming, a child born in the Year of the Tiger will be a like little live wire in the household - a smart self-assured chatterbox with unquenchable interest in everything he sees. Quite similar to the child born in the Year of the Dragon, he may also intimidate the less combative kids into submission, but still people will be drawn to him for his gregarious character. He doesn't like to keep back secrets nor does he appreciate secrets being withheld from him. The Tiger child is very forthright, so to a certain extent his parents will have to put up with his shenanigans. On the negative side, if this Tiger-child 's boldness goes on without encumbrance, he could ultimately dominate his parents - so from early on in his life, he should be taught to listen to others, strike a balance and find a middle course.
