Monkey

Like a bright-eyed and furry-tailed monkey swinging from branch to branch, the child born in the Year of the Monkey will be sprightly, jolly and even prankish. From a very young age he will be adept at dishing out honeyed words he will play up to his parent’s weaknesses, and will always get the ice-cream or the candy he wants. Always inquisitive and resourceful he will be prying apart his toys to find out what’s inside. He will constantly bug his parents with all sorts of questions. This mischievous little child will climb other people’s trees and will always have his eye on their possessions. The extraordinary thing about this child is that he can comprehend a variety of topics pretty fast moving from one to the other in quick succession. Today he may be involved with a project involving a homemade camera built out of a shoe-box, tomorrow he may bond with a few kids in the neighborhood to form some of sort of a Ham Radio club. On the negative side he tends to think that life is a one-way street, and he ought to have his way always, so he should be taught the virtues of sharing.
